Peanut Butter Cookies

Chef Teddy loves peanut butter, do u?

Ingredients
280g Plain Flour
50g Corn Flour
1tsp Baking Powder
150g Butter / Margarine
100g Caster Sugar
2tbsp Chunky Peanut Butter
1tsp Vanilla Essence
1 Egg

Method
1. Plain Flour, Corn Flour & Baking Powder - Sifted together as "A".
2. Cream Butter / Margarine with Caster Sugar; then add Peanut Butter & Vanilla Essence; then add Egg; lastly slowly add in "A". Mix well until foam.
3. Make a dough ball and flatten it on a tray.
4. Drop Peanut Butter on the top. Bake at 180'C for 15-20mins.
5. Leave it cool & ready to eat.

Pineapple Tart

Everyone love Pineapple Tart & it is a must for CNY.

Ingredients for Pineapple Jam
250g Grated Pineapple
150g Caster Sguar
1tbsp Lemon Juice
1 Pandan Leaf (Optional)

Method for Pineapple Jam
1. Bring all ingredients in pot & simmer for 30mins until thick.
2. Sieve in Corn Flour, mix and let cool & ready to use.

Ingredients for Tart
150g Flour
1/4tsp Salt
2tbsp Corn Flour
100g Butter / Margarine
1 1/2 tbsp Icing Sugar
1/4tsp Vanilla Essence
1 Egg Yolk

Method for Tart
1. Seived all the dry Ingredients (at least 3 times).
2. Mix all the Ingredients until become dough.
3. Do the Pineapple Tart: Make a round dough (50g), flatten it, put the Pineapple Jam (10g) at the center, wrap it with dough.
4. Before bake, brush the tart with egg wash (i.e. mix the egg with some water).
5. Bake at 180'C for 10-15mins.
6. Let it cool & ready to eat.

Choc Chips Cookies

Choc Chips Cookies, definitely the 1st pick of Kids Favourite CNY cookies!

Ingredients (for 2 dozen)
115g Butter (at room temperature)
50g Caster Sugar
110g Dark Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1/2tsp Vanilla Essence
170g Plain Flour
1/2tsp Baking Powder
1pinch Salt
135g Choc Chips

Method
1. With an electric mixer, mix Butter, Caster Sugar, Dark Brown Sugar together until light & fluffy.
2. In another bowl, mix the Egg and Vanilla Essence, sift over the Flour, Baking Powder and Salt. Finally, add-in the Choc Chips and mix well to combine.
3. Place heaped teaspoonful of dough at least 5cm apart, as the mixture will spread out.
4. Bake until lightly coloured (take around 10-15mins)
5. Transfer to a rack and let it cool.

art's fun studio wishes everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR ;p

Create your own CNY decoration is so simple! And the children love it!

All you need is:
1) Cardboard - You can simply cut it from an unwanted box!
2) Red Paper (to wrap the cardboard)
3) Scissor
4) Glue
5) Colour


1. Draw a Rabbit on a paper - Separate each body parts, i.e. Head, Ears, Hands, Legs, and Body


2. Colour your Rabbit


3. Cut each body parts


4. Wrap the cardboard with Red Paper


5. Decorate the Cardboard


6. Paste your Rabbit on the Cardboard
Tips: for 3D effect, place a polyform underneath the Head & Hands before you paste it
